Abstract

Any society serving as a strategic asset. Consequently, they have become a benchmark for the progress of nations across various domains, with a particular emphasis on the field of sports. Nations demonstrate their commitment and support to their gifted individuals through the application of modern methodologies in their early identification, discovery, and investment in their potentials. Physical education and sports instructors play a vital role in this process, facing the real challenge of developing mechanisms and techniques for the selection and identification of these talents. These talents possess latent capacities, especially in terms of physical and aptitude-based attributes, each aligned with their respective sports specializations. Hence, our study aims to explore the key methods employed by physical education and sports instructors in the wilaya of laghouat for the selection and identification of certain physical and skill traits in gifted Students.
