The present study examines the ways in which Jürgen Habermas’s Public Sphere Theory has been employed in Algerian media studies. It does so by analyzing a sample of academic works that have applied this theory to specific topics within the Algerian media and communication field, using a qualitative meta-analysis methodology to review and critique these studies. The findings highlight the importance of this theory in uncovering various indicators related to the reality of communicative and interactive practices in the digital environment. Furthermore, the study reflects significant aspects concerning the nature of the content produced by users in the virtual sphere.
