Abstract: Many developing countries have been drawing up policies and strategies that would achieve the development of their economies and their people, and reach the status of developed countries. Each of them followed a certain approach, whether socialist or capitalist, including those who understand that mixing the merits of the two models together. But the reproduction of models and experiments and their direct projections is sometimes due to the negativity of the inadequacy and failure to take into account the specificity of each experiment. That requires adapting some aspects in accordance with the local specificity of resources, values, and principles. The Malaysian experience is one of the most important experiences — a global leader in development — as it presented a contemporary development project that combines modernity and Islam, and matches advanced global models. Keywords: Ethnic Pluralism; Social Harmony; Political Development; Islamic Values; Peaceful Coexistence.
