The digital revolution and changing professional requirements have led to the development of accounting competencies that go beyond traditional knowledge to include analytical and technical skills. Educational institutions face a considerable challenge in aligning global standards with current teaching paradigms. This research employed a case study methodology to analyze the French accounting education system's reaction to the challenges presented by digital transformation. The principal finding of this study is that France has constantly integrated advanced digital tools, such as accounting software simulation platforms into its courses.
