Classroom Interaction Transformations In Light Of The Flipped Learning Strategy

Authors : Attoum Wissam .

Abstract

Classroom interaction is considered the essence of the educational process, as it reflects the nature of pedagogical relationships and the dynamics of learning within the classroom. Modern technology has contributed to bringing about a qualitative transformation in this interaction through the flipped learning strategy. This strategy has reorganized the roles of both the teacher and the learner by moving the delivery of instructional content outside the classroom via digital media, while using class time for interactive and applied activities. Within this framework, the learner shifts from a passive recipient to an active agent who participates in selecting content, engaging in discussion, solving problems, and cooperative learning, while the teacher’s role shifts to that of a guide and facilitator of learning. Accordingly, this article aims to identify the course of the educational process in light of this strategy, including the process of classroom interaction
