This study aimed to assess the level of administrative communication practices in the Faculty of Economic, Commercial and Management Sciences at the University of Jijel, from the perspective of administrative staff, using the Penley & Hawkins model. A descriptive empirical approach was adopted, and data were collected through a questionnaire administered to a sample of 65 administrative employees. The data were analyzed using the SPSS software. The findings indicated that the overall level of administrative communication practices was high, reflecting generally positive practices despite some existing challenges. The results also showed variation across communication dimensions. Task-related communication, performance communication, and responsiveness to communication achieved high levels, highlighting efforts to clarify work policies, define performance standards, and engage employees. In contrast, job-related and interpersonal communication practices were rated at a moderate level, indicating the need to enhance career development opportunities, professional growth, and interpersonal interaction between management and staff.
