Contributions Of Saudi Universities In Promoting The Culture Of Volunteerism Work In Light Of Saudi Vision 2030

Abstract

In order to develop societies, higher education institutions extend beyond academic education to include the cultivation of human and societal values. Volunteerism represents a significant party of these values, enhancing students’ sense and awareness of community spirit. The current study seeks to explore the role of universities in embedding volunteerism culture by analyzing university implemented programs and initiative’s, with a particular focusing on notable successful experiences in Saudi Arabia. Findings reveal that Saudi universities are instrumental in instilling volunteerism among students by providing support, guidance, and initiative activities that inspire community engagement.
