Nutrition is not just a routine life act necessary for survival, or a form of physical pleasure, but it goes much beyond that, when it becomes a strong connection to the identity of society, its cultural structure, and its educational institutions,,The common saying, “Tell me what you eat, and I will tell you who you are.” The identity dimension of the nutritional pattern is evident. In its broad sense, it goes beyond religious and linguistic affiliation to become more dynamic. It is not possible to understand the health situation in society without its formed nutritional identity, traditions, and cultural structure This is done through socio-anthropological research, Obesity, diabetes, and cancer are not individual problems, but have societal dimensions, the identity of the individual is determined by what one abstains from. He eats it for fear of illness, and not necessarily according to his dietary pattern. Thus, we are faced with a slow pace of change at the level of consumer values and habits that is shaped by resistance to inherited dietary traditions and their resilience to the dangers of openness to other identities.
