Professional Expertise In Voluntary Organisational Work: Importance, Challenges, And Mechanisms For Attracting It

Authors : Bendebla Kouider .

Abstract

This article analyses the structural transformations in voluntary work, moving from traditional frameworks based on personalisation and centralisation to the modern institution model, discussing the role of specialised professional expertise in enhancing the sustainability of voluntary projects within the principles of governance and participatory leadership and the mechanisms of attracting such expertise and competencies to develop those voluntary institutions and modernise their work and activities in order to achieve their goals and sustainability. Based on the descriptive-analytical approach and a field study of the two associations (Al-Shifa and Al-Baraka), the study concluded that participatory leadership and governance of voluntary institutions by attracting expertise and competencies represent the cornerstone of modernising voluntary institutions and transforming them into a sustainable development actor.
