Challenges Master 2 Students Of English At Adrar University Encounter While Preparing Dissertations: Supervisors And Supervisees Perspectives (2023-2024)

Abstract
Our paper aims to figure out the challenges that M.A 2 students face when they are preparing their dissertations. A mixed method has been adopted in order to carry out this research; we administered a questionnaire to 81 students and interviewed 05 teachers at the Department of English of Adrar University. Our findings show that most students encounter methodological and spelling problems. While teachers relate the challenges to data collection process, sample selection, lack of guidance and absenteeism both on the part of students and on that of the teachers in charge, and the difficulty to make their way through the topic.
