الملخص
Abstract: The study examines the didactic dimension of the literary text in second-generation textbooks through the application of text-linguistic concepts. This incorporation emerged from rhetoric’s inability to fully account for textual aspects in critique and analysis. The importance of this research lies in its treatment of a relatively new topic within linguistic analytical methods, namely the manifestations of cohesion and coherence. After analyzing two literary texts, I concluded that text linguistics plays a significant role in cultivating the learner’s critical and creative faculties in textual analysis.
