This article examines the legal and ethical challenges posed by asymmetric warfare in the context of rapid technological advancements. It focuses on how emerging technologies such as cyber warfare, artificial intelligence, drone technology, and information warfare have transformed the nature of conflicts, creating new dilemmas for international law and ethics. The study analyzes the applicability of existing legal frameworks, particularly international humanitarian law, to these modern forms of warfare. It also explores the ethical implications of using advanced technologies in asymmetric conflicts, including issues of proportionality, distinction, human control, and privacy. Through case studies and an examination of potential future scenarios, the article highlights the urgent need for updated legal and ethical frameworks to address the complexities of technologically-driven asymmetric warfare.
