Bullying As An International Social Phenomenon: Concepts And Forms التنمر كظاهرة اجتماعية دولية: المفاهيم والأشكال

Abstract

The present paper aims to understand bullying as an international social phenomenon by highlighting its concepts and forms, addressing the following points: definitions, types, and different meanings of bullying in different countries and in different contexts. Considering that the defining characteristic of bullying is the systematic abuse of power, it clearly has a much broader application than school and childhood contexts. However, other words, such as abuse or harassment, may be more commonly used in contexts such as the family or workplace. Finally, we addressed cyber aggression, which differs from cyberbullying. A number of researchers prefer to speak of cyber aggression rather than cyberbullying. Ultimately, we address the issue of human dignity and rights.
