This study examines the integration of artificial intelligence into French for Specific Purposes (FSP), with a focus on economic French, based on a survey of 64 academics in Algerian higher education. The research combines a psychometric questionnaire and a judgment task to analyze the relationships between academic literacy, intercultural mediation, critical stance, and professional seniority. Findings show that the pedagogical adaptation of AI enhances intercultural sensitivity and reveals an implicit learning of FSP by these academics outside formal training. The results highlight the role of human mediation and call for a reconsideration of didactic evaluation models.
