This research explores the issue of ambiguity in constitutional texts, which poses a significant challenge to the proper application of constitutions. It aims to analyze the causes and consequences of such ambiguity and highlight the essential role of constitutional courts in resolving it. Ambiguity often results from vague or broad constitutional language, leading to multiple interpretations and legal uncertainty. The study finds that constitutional justice plays a central role in clarifying unclear provisions through authoritative interpretation in light of constitutional principles. This helps prevent conflicting applications and ensures institutional balance. The constitutional court also safeguards rights and freedoms from arbitrary interpretations. The research concludes with the need to strengthen the independence and interpretive authority of constitutional courts to enhance the effectiveness of constitutional norms and promote legal certainty.
