مساهمة ألفريد بيل (alfred Bel 1873-1945) في توثيق التراث الشعبي اللامادي بالجزائر

الملخص

تنطلق هذه الدراسة من قراءة وصفية لكتاب »صناعة الصوف بتلمسان«(Le Travail De La Laine A Tlemcen)، بوصفه عملاً ميدانياً مفصّلاً يُوثّق صناعة الصوف في منطقة تلمسان خلال بدايات القرن العشرين، أنجزه ألفريد بيل (Alfred Bel 1873-1945)، وبروسبير ريكار (Prosper Ricard 1874-1952). وقد عَمد المؤلفان إلى تسجيل مختلف مراحل التعامل مع الصوف، بدءاً من استخراجه وتنظيفه وفرزه، مروراً بغزله ونسجه، مع تقديم تحليل دقيق لتنوّع جوداته تبعاً لاختلاف السلالات الحيوانية والظروف البيئية. كما يتناول الكتاب الأنشطة الحرفية المرتبطة بهذه المادة، مثل تقنيات الغزل التقليدي، والصباغة الطبيعية، وأساليب النسج والزخرفة، مبرزاً أدوار كلٍّ من النساء والرجال في هذه العمليات، إلى جانب تناوله للأبعاد الاقتصادية والاجتماعية المرتبطة بالحرفة، وسياق تراجعها التدريجي أمام منافسة المنتجات الأوروبية. ويتميّز هذا العمل باحتوائه على 231 شكلاً توضيحياً توفّر مادة بصرية ثرية حول الأدوات والتقنيات التقليدية، الأمر الذي يجعل منه مرجعاً أساسياً في توثيق حرفة الصوف بتلمسان، وحفظ ملامح تراث حرفي كان مهدَّداً بالاندثار. The book “Wool Production in Tlemcen” offers a detailed, field-based study of wool craftsmanship in the Tlemcen region during the early twentieth century. Prepared by Alfred Bel and Prosper Ricard, it documents the various stages of wool extraction, cleaning, sorting, spinning, and weaving, providing an accurate analysis of the different wool qualities according to breed and environment. The book also examines the artisanal activities associated with wool, such as traditional spinning, natural dyeing, weaving techniques, and decorative patterns, highlighting the roles played by both women and men throughout these processes. It further presents the economic and social dimensions of the craft and the context of its decline in the face of European products. What distinguishes this work is its inclusion of 231 illustrative figures, offering rich visual material on traditional tools and methods, which makes the book one of the most significant references preserving the features of wool craftsmanship in Tlemcen and documenting with precision the elements of this endangered artisanal heritage.
