مصطفى صادق الرافعي وإسهاماته في إثراء النقد العربي الحديث: دراسة وصفية تحليلية

الملخص
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على إسهامات مصطفى صادق الرافعي (1937–1880) في تشكّل النقد العربي الحديث، من خلال مقاربة وصفية تحليلية تستقرئ مواقفه النقدية، وأدواته المنهجية، وخطابه اللغوي والفكري. وتنطلق الدراسة من فرضية مفادها أن الرافعي لم يكن مجرد أديب محافظ في مواجهة تيارات التجديد، بل ناقدًا صاحب مشروع فكري متكامل، أسهم في بلورة رؤية نقدية أصيلة تستند إلى التراث العربي الإسلامي، مع وعي عميق بإشكالات الحداثة الوافدة. وتتناول الدراسة أبرز مؤلفات الرافعي النقدية، وفي مقدمتها تحت راية القرآن، وعلى السفود، ومقالاته النقدية المتفرقة، محللةً موقفه من قضايا اللغة، والأدب، والذوق، والهوية، ومناقشته الحادة لأعلام عصره، ولا سيما سجاله مع طه حسين والعقاد. كما تبرز الدراسة الأسس الجمالية والفكرية التي قام عليها نقده، وفي مقدمتها الدفاع عن العربية بوصفها وعاءً حضاريًا وفكريًا، وربط الأدب بالقيم الأخلاقية والبعد الروحي. وتخلص الدراسة إلى أن إسهام الرافعي في النقد العربي الحديث يتمثل في ترسيخ النقد القيمي واللغوي، وفي مقاومة النزعات التغريبية التي فصلت الأدب عن مرجعيته الثقافية، مع اعتماد أسلوب نقدي يجمع بين البلاغة، والحدة الجدلية، والعمق الفكري. وبذلك يحتل الرافعي موقعًا متميزًا في تاريخ النقد العربي الحديث، بوصفه ناقدًا حافظ على الأصالة، وأسهم في إثراء الجدل النقدي والفكري في عصر التحولات. This study aims to shed light on the contributions of Mustafa Sadiq Al-Rafi‘i (1880–1937) to the development of modern Arabic literary criticism, through a descriptive-analytical approach that examines his critical positions, methodological tools, and linguistic and intellectual discourse. The study is based on the hypothesis that Al-Rafi‘i was not merely a conservative writer resisting currents of modernization, but rather a critic with a comprehensive intellectual project who contributed to shaping an authentic critical vision rooted in Arab-Islamic heritage, while maintaining a profound awareness of the challenges posed by incoming modernity. The study examines Al-Rafi‘i’s most prominent critical works, including Under the Banner of the Qur’an and ‘Ala al-Sufud, as well as his scattered critical articles, analyzing his stance on issues of language, literature, taste, and identity, and his rigorous debates with the leading figures of his era, particularly Taha Hussein and Al-‘Aqqad. The study also highlights the aesthetic and intellectual foundations of his criticism, foremost among them his defense of the Arabic language as a civilizational and intellectual vessel, and his linking of literature with moral values and spiritual dimensions. The study concludes that Al-Rafi‘i’s contribution to modern Arabic criticism lies in consolidating value-based and linguistic criticism, resisting Westernizing tendencies that detached literature from its cultural reference, and adopting a critical style that combines eloquence, argumentative sharpness, and intellectual depth. Accordingly, Al-Rafi‘i occupies a distinguished position in the history of modern Arabic criticism as a critic who preserved authenticity and enriched the critical and intellectual debate during an era of profound transformation.
