This paper explores the basic subtleties associated with interpreting and translating metaphorical expressions in the Noble Quran, notably those that refer to the attributes of Allah. It draws attention to the Quran's outstanding organization and rhetorical frame, with metaphor serving as the main topic of discussion. The research investigates the varying perspectives on interpreting these metaphors, particularly in relation to Allah's attributes like "face" and "hands." Employing a comprehensive methodology combining comparative analysis and qualitative approaches, the study uncovers contrasting strategies adopted by scholars. It reveals a paradoxical scenario where translations unintentionally affirm the presence of metaphors while sometimes diluting their essence. This variation in translation approaches leads to confusion among non-Arabic readers and underscores the need for a standardized exegetical methodology. Despite differing viewpoints, the study emphasizes the importance of maintaining fidelity to the original text through literal translation strategies to provide readers with a coherent understanding of the Quranic text.
