Study Of The Semantic Memory Of Children With Asd (case Study)

Abstract
Abstract: This paper aims at finding out more about the semantic memory of children with ASD. The sample included 02 children with ASD aged between 09 and 10 who have been chosen on purpose. We used the descriptive method (case study) and applied the semantic memory scale of Abd al Aziz Saad for data collection (the item of semantic repetition of words and digits, and the item of semantic order and classification of images). Findings showed slight troubles in the semantic repetition of words, mainly in the semantic matching, troubles in the semantic repetition of digits, and slight troubles in the recognition of the semantic classification and order of images, mainly regarding the unfamiliar words.
