In the post-Cold War era, a time of profound shifts at both the national and global scales, a vibrant discourse has emerged around the themes of globalization and governance. This discourse necessitates a precise articulation of these concepts and a thorough examination of their interrelation. The focus of this analysis is to explore various perspectives on this subject and to delineate the conceptual debates that underpin the definitions of globalization and governance, which are central to our theoretical framework. Accordingly, this article investigates the diverse entries and theoretical underpinnings of globalization and governance within a conceptual-theoretical framework that is consistent with the epistemological underpinnings of the topic. It also scrutinizes the principal theoretical debates and contemporary scholarly schools that have been instrumental in establishing the theoretical groundwork for these concepts.
