Abstract
Abstract: Economic crimes are considered among the most important challenges confronting governments and societies and threaten their economies, both nationally and internationally, due to the negative aspects that particularly affect the national economy and sustainable development in general. As a result, this category of crimes is becoming a real problem for many States, governments and institutions, including the judiciary. In this regard, The States are tending to adopt new and effective penal rules to deal with such criminal activities and combat their negative impacts. The Study is targeting economic crimes in contemporary criminal legislation in the light of economic and social transformations , economic security and national development policies
