The current paper aims to gauge students’ attitudes towards understanding the divergent facets of intercultural interaction in EFL classes. It targets students’ cultural empathy as a means to transcend personal and ethnocentric biases. Thus, the implementation of cultural mini-drama projects is established as a highly effective strategy to cultivate students’ empathy. In this vein, a descriptive method has been deployed to collect the necessary data via the use of a Five-point Likert scale that encompasses attitudinal dimensions. The questionnaire was addressed to 47 second year students at the department of English after being randomly assigned to an experimental group. The findings divulge students’ appreciation of the “other” perspectives. They exhibited intercultural empathy as they reported positive perceptions of the mini-drama projects, particularly in terms of intercultural skills. Some implications and recommendations are accumulatively included to address the current issue.
