Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the role of emerging technologies in enhancing e-commerce efficiency in Algeria by examining their potential benefits, opportunities, and associated challenges. Specifically, the research explored how these technologies could streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve customer experiences while addressing cultural, infrastructural, and regulatory barriers to adoption in the Algerian market. The study highlights that emerging technologies like AI, big data, and e-payment systems enhance e-commerce efficiency and customer satisfaction. However, limited adoption of tools such as AR and blockchain, alongside infrastructural and consumer cash preferences, restricts potential growth. It recommends focusing on AI-driven personalization, mobile app advancements, and regulatory reforms to boost Algeria's e-commerce sector.
