This paper examines global e-commerce trends and analyzes their implications for Algerian enterprises. Focusing on the case of UPS Conexlog in Algeria, it highlights how efficient logistics services are crucial for enabling cross-border e-commerce and supporting broader economic development, including job creation and digital literacy. While opportunities for market expansion and innovation exist, structural barriers such as limited digital infrastructure, regulatory complexity, and financial exclusion continue to hinder progress. The study proposes strategic priorities including investment in infrastructure, regulatory reforms, capacity building, and public-private partnerships. Strengthening these areas will allow Algeria to better integrate into the global digital economy and foster sustainable growth.
