The Algerian constitutional enshrined the principle of the Constitutional Court's independence by ensuring its organic and functional autonomy, thereby strengthening its role as the highest authority in constitutional oversight. On the organic level, the method of appointing the court’s members was revised to ensure a balanced and independent composition, reducing external influence over its decisions. Additionally, legal safeguards were reinforced to protect court members from any pressures that could affect their impartiality and independence.
