الملخص
تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى استجلاء دور أدب الرحلات الغربية وبعدها الاستشراقي في ربط أواصر الآداب والثقافات والمعارف، باعتبار هذه الأخيرة الجسر الرابط بين مختلف الأمم والشعوب ثقافيا واجتماعيا، ما جعلها أرضا خصبة للدراسات الاستشراقية، وعليه سلطنا الضوء على أهم المفاهيم اللغوية والاصطلاحية التي تؤسس لقاعدة البحث، ودور الرحلات الاستشراقية في نقل صورة الأنا للآخر، معتمدين في ذلك على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي باعتباره المنهج الأنسب للوصول إلى نتائج تعين على وضع أطر محددة لها.This research paper seeks to elucidate the function of Western travel literature and its Orientalist aspects in connecting literature, cultures, and knowledge. Knowledge serves as a conduit between nations and peoples, both culturally and socially, thus providing a rich field for Orientalist studies. Consequently, this paper highlights key linguistic and terminological concepts foundational to the research. Additionally, it examines how Orientalist travels have influenced the representation of the self in relation to the other, employing a cultural approach as the most suitable method to derive conclusions necessitating well-defined frameworks.
