Abstract
This study explores the relationship between the Fourth Information Revolution, technological advancement, and fundamental human values. It illustrates how other scientific revolutions (those of Copernicus, Darwin, and Freud) caused radical changes in humanity’s perception of its place. The study aims to analyse the effects of the Information Revolution on human perspectives regarding self-identity and status in this new era, emphasising the need to establish a new, comprehensive philosophy that focusses on information as its subject of study by raising questions that lay the foundation for such a philosophy. تبحث هذه الدراسة في العلاقة بين الثورة المعلوماتية الرابعة والتقدم التقني والقيم الأساسية للإنسان. إذ يوضح كيف تسببت الثورات العلمية الأخرى (كوبرنيكوس وداروين وفرويد) في إحداث تغييرات جذرية في تصور الإنسان لمكانته. كما يهدف إلى تحليل آثار الثورة المعلوماتية على منظور الإنسان لجوهره الذاتي ومكانته في عصر هذه الثورة، ووجوب التأسيس لفلسفة شاملة جديدة تتخذ المعلومات موضوع دراسة لها، من خلال إثارة تساؤلات تؤسس لهذه الفلسفة.
