Languages, discourse and inter cultures

Description

Langues, discours et inter cultures (Languages, discourse and inter cultures) is an open access, double-blind ‎peer-reviewed journal édited by the Interdisciplinary Research Laboratory: Discourse Analysis, Language Teaching and Interculturality of Algiers 2 University / Algeria. The publication frequency is two issues per year. The journal publishes the original and unpublished articles free of charge. Its objective is to publicize the scientific work, to promote interdisciplinary links and to open up new ways of investigation in the various fields of research:. The articles must fall under one of these fields : literature, language sciences and didactics. Their evaluation is done by experts not belonging to the same institution of the author. The languages of publication are French and English.

The evaluation:
In Langues, discours et Inter cultures, the evaluation of articles is a double blind peer review type. It goes through three main stages:
- the first is made by the editor-in-chief upon receipt of the article. It mainly concerns the formal aspect (whether the Template was respected or not during the development of the article). At the end of this operation, the article is either accepted for evaluation, and an automatic message is sent to the author, or refused on grounds of non-compliance with the publication standards.
- The second is that of reviewers. Once the article is accepted for review, the editor-in-chief assigns it to an associate editor or two reviewers, specialists in the field of the article, in their network. These should not belong to the same institution as the author.
After evaluation, the article can be:
* definitively accepted if he has obtained two positive expert reports without reservations.
* accepted with reservations, if one or both expertises accepted it with reservations. (The author, in this case, will be notified by message, and will have fifteen days to make the changes). After the reservations are lifted, the reviewers permanently accept the article and the editor-in-chief moves the article to the accepted articles section for publication.
* refused, if he obtained two negative expert reports.
* subject to a third expertise, if it has had a positive report and another negative.
