Authors : Regad Halima . Damome Etienne .

Abstract

The reputation of an organization, whether associated with tangible or intangible products, is an undeniable strategic asset. Consequently, organizations are compelled to develop strategies that establish a distinctive presence in the minds of their audiences, given the paramount importance of their image in shaping their identity and corporate culture. Building a commendable reputation hinge on a well-defined communicative vision and objectives, clearly communicated through the roles assigned to the organization's members, coupled with an unwavering commitment to enhancing both the products offered and the methods of their delivery. In light of these considerations, it has become imperative for institutions to leverage the capabilities and services provided by the second generation of the internet, Web 2.0, to market their products and services electronically. This involves vigilant monitoring of their online presence and managing their brand through diligent analysis of content published about them, with a focus on rectifying any misinformation that could tarnish their image. Ultimately, a customer's willingness to pay hinges on their trust in the quality of service provided and the positive perception they hold of the institution. This paper delves into the strategies through which an organization orchestrates its online reputation management, addressing the central question: How does an organization strategically plan its online reputation management?
