A Pragma-argumentative Linguistic Inquiry Into The Discourses Of The Gaza And Ukraine Crises

Abstract
Diplomatic discourse, functioning as the quintessential language of negotiation, official communiqués, and correspondence among international actors, constitutes the fundamental cornerstone of global crisis and conflict management. Its functional paradigm transcends the mere dissemination of information; it is intrinsically linked to the construction of political identities, the legitimization of strategic posturing, and the sophisticated exertion of soft power and influence. A profound comprehension of this discursive mode necessitates the deployment of advanced analytical apparatuses derived from modern linguistics most notably the frameworks of pragmatics and argumentation theory. The vital significance of such linguistic inquiry is acutely manifest within the landscape of contemporary geopolitical crises, exemplified by the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' operation and the Russo-Ukrainian conflict. In these pivotal contexts, language emerges as a transformative battlefield, mirroring the intensity of physical combat. This study aims to provide a rigorous analytical scrutiny of how linguistic structures shape and are shaped by these volatile international dynamics. Le discours diplomatique, en tant que langage par excellence de la négociation, des communiqués officiels et de la correspondance entre acteurs internationaux, constitue la pierre angulaire fondamentale de la gestion des crises et des conflits à l'échelle mondiale. Son paradigme fonctionnel transcende la simple dissémination de l'information ; il est intrinsèquement lié à la construction des identités politiques, à la légitimation des positionnements stratégiques, ainsi qu'à l'exercice sophistiqué du pouvoir doux et de l'influence. Une compréhension approfondie de ce mode discursif requiert le déploiement d'appareils analytiques avancés, issus de la linguistique moderne notamment les cadres théoriques de la pragmatique et de la théorie de l'argumentation. L'importance vitale d'une telle démarche linguistique se manifeste avec acuité dans le paysage des crises géopolitiques contemporaines, illustrées par l'opération « Déluge d'Al-Aqsa » et le conflit russo-ukrainien. Dans ces contextes charnières, la langue émerge comme un champ de bataille transformateur, reflétant l'intensité des affrontements physiques. La présente étude se propose de soumettre à un examen analytique rigoureux la manière dont les structures linguistiques façonnent ces dynamiques internationales volatiles, et sont simultanément façonnées par elles. يمثل الخطاب الدبلوماسي، بوصفه لغة التفاوض والبيانات الرسمية والمراسلات بين الفاعلين الدوليين حجر الزاوية في إدارة الأزمات والصراعات، لا تقتصر وظيفته على نقل المعلومات فحسب، بل يتعداها إلى بناء الهويات السياسية، تبرير المواقف، وممارسة القوة الناعمة والتأثير، يتطلب فهم هذا النوع من الخطابات أدوات تحليلية متقدمة توفرها اللسانيات الحديثة بمختلف فروعها، لاسيما التداولية والحجاج. تتجلى أهمية هذا التحليل بشكل خاص في سياق الأزمات المعاصرة، مثل عملية "طوفان الأقصى" والصراع الروسي-الأوكراني، حيث تصبح اللغة ساحة معركة لا تقل ضراوة عن الميدان، وهو ما سنتناوله بشيء من التحليل.
