Abstract: The use of digital tools and technologies has become a new gateway for the transition from the traditional world to the digital sphere. Digital practices have thus emerged as a central element across various strategic sectors of the state. The notarial profession is one of these sectors that has benefited from developments similar to those experienced by many legal professions. The notary is no longer merely a drafter and author of contracts. Instead, the features of a digital professional identity have become apparent, and the function has shifted from a material paper-based environment to a technological domain in which tasks are performed digitally with greater efficiency. This transformation ensures rapid completion of transactions and facilitates seamless access to legal services in line with ongoing technological trends, with the aim of achieving the digital notary following the model of French notarial practice, whose features have been reflected in the application “Algerian Notary.”
