Climate change has become one of the most prominent global issues of the present time, due to its serious impacts and grave risks on the environment, affecting all countries around the world. Among the most significant of these impacts is the spread of epidemics, which constitute a natural consequence of these climatic changes. Accordingly, the international community is increasingly adopting various strategies and policies aimed at confronting these two phenomena and mitigating their severe consequences. In this context, the leading role played by the United Nations through its specialized agencies, particularly the World Health Organization, becomes particularly evident.
