The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), launched by China in 2013, is a global strategic project that integrates political, economic, and geopolitical dimensions. The initiative aims to strengthen regional and international connectivity through, the development of infrastructure, the promotion of trade, and the consolidation of partnerships among participating countries. It also serves as a key tool for enhancing China’s international influence and achieving its strategic objectives. This article focuses on examining the BRI as an instrument of Chinese foreign policy, analyzing its political, economic, and strategic dimensions. It also addresses the challenges and opportunities facing the initiative, its potential to foster regional economic integration, and its role in reshaping the international system. Ultimately, the article provides insights into how China utilizes the BRI to advance its national interests while projecting a balanced global role.
