Electronic Commercial Papers In Light Of The Accelerating Digital Transformation Between Reality And Law

Abstract

Amidst the significant developments in the banking industry in the field of electronic banking operations, thanks to ongoing technological innovations and intense competition among banking institutions, electronic banking payment methods have emerged to complement traditional methods. Although the Algerian legislator has adopted electronic payment systems, it is still suffering from a significant delay in adopting them in practice, especially in light of the inability of current legal rules to accommodate this development. Therefore, this study came to examine the extent to which the legal rules governing traditional commercial papers extend to electronic checks and bills of exchange.
