Towards The Establishment Of Waqf Companies In Algeria: A Foundational Study With Practical Proposals

Abstract
This study aims to explore the feasibility of establishing Waqf companies in Algeria as an innovative model to revitalize the institution of endowment (waqf) and enhance its developmental impact. The objective is to align with the higher objectives of Sharia (Maqasid al-Sharia) by investing waqf proceeds in sustainable economic ventures whose returns are allocated to various charitable activities. The research adopts a descriptive-analytical methodology, relying on a review of relevant jurisprudential and legal literature concerning waqf and corporate structures
