The cultural lexicon consists of words related to the culture of a community. In bilingual dictionaries, this section of the lexicon has great significance. In this paper, we studied a few units extracted from J.-M. Dallet’s dictionary (1982) in order to identify the methods used to present this lexicon to users of sais dictionary. We noted that the author used the synonymic definition, the phrasal definition and the mixed definition. As for the examples, cited or forged, they mainly have a link with Amazigh-Kabyle culture and they are traslated into the target language, namely French. Keywords : bilingual lexicography, cultural lexicon, lexicographic definition, lexicographic example, dictionary of J.-M. Dallet.
