This study presents a comparative analysis of traditional and AI-driven performance measurement systems at Tesla between 2021 and 2023, focusing on operational efficiency, product quality, production cost, and customer satisfaction. It contrasts classical KPIs—such as production volume and defect rates—with intelligent systems using predictive maintenance and real-time quality monitoring. Results show notable improvements: monthly output increased from 50,000 to 70,000 units, defect rates dropped from 5% to 1.5%, unit cost decreased from $500 to $450, and customer satisfaction rose from 75% to 90%. The findings highlight AI’s advantages in enhancing processes and minimizing waste, while also addressing challenges such as high implementation costs and system integration.
