This study examines the role of democratic, autocratic, and laissez-faire leadership styles on employee performance at the Algeria Meat Canning Company, to identify the optimal approach for enhancing productivity and job satisfaction. Using an analytical descriptive methodology, data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to a random sample of 70 employees and interviews with officials. Analysis was conducted using SPSS V30. Results indicate that democratic leadership significantly improves performance by fostering participation in decision-making and enhancing communication, which boosts motivation and loyalty. Conversely, autocratic leadership reduced motivation due to its rigid, top-down nature, while the laissez-faire style led to performance declines from lack of guidance. The study concludes that democratic leadership is most effective for creating a motivating work environment in the examined organization
