Implementing The Digital Dinar In Algeria Opportunities And Challenges

Abstract
Place the abstract here (This paper describes the opportunities and challenges that are, in one hand, related to the implementation of Digital Dinar in Algeria. It illustrates how central bank digital currency (CBDC) would help improve financial inclusion, minimize the level of informal economy, and update the monetary system with some regulatory hurdles, technological problems, and infrastructural gaps that have to be addressed. It also adequately discusses matters relative to Algeria's economic context and its level of digital readiness as well as issues about public trust and cybersecurity. The article provides policy recommendations on guided paths for effective adoption. In conclusion, it can be noted that even though the Digital Dinar has great potential, guided gradualism is highly recommended.
