Countries seek to strengthen their mutual relations in all fields, and try to establish many agreements and charters that regulate the course of exchange between them and the activity of individuals in the movement of information, all in order to establish security. However, the emergence of some networks that are active in the context of crime has made the situation worsen, as a result of the existence of a tight organization of these networks in what is known today as organized crime, The international community has sought to develop a convention and protocols to combat these crimes, given that they affect the security and sovereignty of states. This study aims to address the concept of organized crime and international efforts to combat it. It also aims to identify the negative effects and dire consequences that these crimes leave in the countries where they are practiced. We have concluded that organized crime is one of the most dangerous crimes, and the United Nations has sought, in the framework of concerted efforts, to approve the United Nations Convention against Transnational Crime.
