الملخص
The management of urban waste is one of the most important problems in Algeria, as local communities seek to search for the most effective ways to create a balanced environmental management between achieving the requirements of local development and the requirements of environmental conservation and sustainable development. Accordingly, our study aims to highlight the sound management of household waste and the like by the governor through the method of the state public institution of an industrial and commercial nature as an institutional tool and its role in rationalizing its decisions in the field of urban waste management, with a focus on evaluating the experience of the state public institution for the management of technical backfill centers and treatment of urban waste in the state of Constantine as a model for sustainable management of urban waste at the local level.
