The Algerian Experience In Managing, Removing, And Valorizing Waste: A Case Study On The Management Of Technical Landfill Centers In Boumerdes Province.

Abstract

This study explores vital concepts related to waste, examining its origins, consequences, and the progression of waste volumes in Algeria, including their geographical spread. It scrutinizes the methodologies used for waste management and disposal across the nation, focusing specifically on practices within Boumerdes Province. The research incorporates a case study of the Technical Landfill Centers in Boumerdes, with a special emphasis on the Technical Landfill Center for Waste situated in the municipality of Corso. This facility serves as a pivotal model due to the essential daily requirement for waste collection, a consequence of the swift decomposition of materials and products. Such decomposition poses immediate risks to both environmental health and public safety ارتأينا في هذه الدراسة لعرض أهم المفاهيم المتعلقة بالنفايات مع ذكر أسبابها وآثارها المختلفة ،وكذا تطور حجم النفايات في الجزائر وتوزيعها الجغرافي ،بالإضافة إلى تحديد طريقة تسيير وتخلص من النفايات فيها، مع أخذ عينة للدراسة ألا وهي كيفية تسيير والتخلص من النفايات بشكل خاص النفايات المنزلية وما شابهها على مستوى ولاية بومرداس، ودراسة حالة مؤسسة مراكز الردم التقني لولاية بومرداس ،بالإضافة إلى أخذ عينة من بين تلك المراكز ألا وهو مركز الردم التقني للنفايات و المتواجد ببلدية قورصو كنموذج، كون هذه النفايات تتطلب جمعها يوميا، فهي ناتجة عن الإستهلاك والإنتاج اليومي للسكان لمختلف المواد والمنتوجات القابلة للتحلل بسرعة في الطبيعة، وأن تراكمها من شأنه الإضرار بالبيئة والصحة العامة بصفة مباشرة.
