الملخص
ملخص: شهد العالم مؤخرا جملة من التحولات الثنائية البيئية والتكنولوجيا المتسارعة؛ والتي فرضت على المجتمع الدولي البحث عن مقاربات جديدة لتعزيز المواطنة البيئية في ظل العصر الرقمي؛ في هذا السياق برز التمكين الرقمي كأحد أنجع المقاربات لما يتيحه من أدوات تضمن الوصول السريع للمعلومات البيئية، وتثمن المشاركة البيئية عبر المنصات الرقمية، وهو موضوع هذه الورقة البحثية التي تهدف إل دراسة العلاقة بين التمكين الرقمي والمواطنة البيئية، بالبحث في دور الإعلام البيئي الرقمي في تمكين المواطنين من الوصول إلى المعلومة البيئية وتنمية الوعي لديهم بالقضايا البيئية، وكذا البحث في الفرص الرقمية الجديدة لتمكين المواطنين من المشاركة الرقمية في كل ما يتعلق بالشأن البيئي، ورغم الزخم الكمي والنوعي لهذه الآليات إلا أن فعاليتها تظل مرهونة بقدرة المجتمعات على تجاوز الفجوات الرقمية. الكلمات المفتاحية: التمكين الرقمي، المواطنة البيئية، المعلومات البيئية، المشاركة البيئية الرقمية، الفجوات الرقمية . Abstract: The world has recently experienced an accelerated series of environmental and technology transformations, which have forced the international community to search for new approaches in order to promote environmental citizenship in the digital age, in this context, digital empowerment has emerged as one of the most effective approaches because it provides tools that ensure quick access to environmental information, and values environmental participation through digital platforms, which is the subject of this research paper that aims to study the relationship between digital empowerment and environmental citizenship by exploring the role of digital environmental media in enabling citizens to access environmental information, and developing their awareness of environmental issues, as well as researching new digital opportunities to promote citizens’ engagement in digital platforms addressing all environmental topics. Nonetheless the effectiveness of these mechanisms remains contingent on bridging digital divides.
