Selection Criteria Used By Physical Education Teachers For Students Participating In School Sports Teams.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims at identifying the various practical criteria , methods and tests that are used in selecting school sports team players , and exploring the most reliable selection methods and obstacles .The study is conducted on a sample of 20 teachers adopting a holistic descriptive approach . Two questionnaires are used to collect data ; the first one is concerned with the individual contribution and the other one pertains to tests and criteria of selection .Appropriate statistical tools are used .The study helps eventually determine the favourite selection criteria and methods .
