The purpose of this study was to investigate how English as a foreign language (EFL) students felt about the use of note-taking apps to improve their writing. The research, which included 50 students chosen through stratified sampling, was place in the autumn of 2023–2024 at the department of English at Amar Thelidji university. The basic tool which was used to collect data was a questionnaire made up of 14-questions in order to gather information about students' experiences using digital note-taking apps for both formal and informal writing assignments. Many students reported better organisation, grammar, and brainstorming skills after using digital note-taking programmes, and the results showed that students had a generally positive attitude towards these tools. The research shows that using digital note-taking apps is a great way to improve EFL writers' abilities.
