Abstract: Communication technologies, and within the framework of implementing the principles of electronic administration across various sectors, the Algerian state has initiated a policy aimed at the digitalization of public services. This process began with the digital transformation of municipal services, given that municipalities represent the primary interface for interaction with citizens. This digital shift has contributed to enhancing the quality of public service delivery in terms of efficiency and effectiveness, while also reducing reliance on manual documentation of administrative records. However, these efforts remain insufficient to achieve a fully integrated electronic administration, considering the challenges posed by the digitalization of municipal services, in addition to the various advantages and disadvantages accompanying this transformation. Keywords: Digitalization, Biometric Documents, Electronic Services, Digitalization of the Municipality.
