This study presents a bibliometric analysis of the growing integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in marketing, an area still underexplored quantitatively. Using data from Scopus (1984–Q1 2024) and analyzed through R Studio, it examines author influence, countries, institutions, publication trends, keyword use, and journal presence. The first AI-marketing paper dates back to 1984, with review articles being the most common among 565 analyzed works. The Journal of Business Research emerges as the top publishing source. The U.S. leads in publication volume and international collaboration. Frequently used keywords point to themes like “AI,” “machine learning,” and “decision-making.” The study maps current trends and identifies leading contributors in the field.
