نحو معجم تاريخي مختصّ: الواقع والطموحات Towards A Specialized Historical Dictionary: Reality And Aspirations

الملخص

الملخص : إن أكبر طموح يسعى المعجميون العرب اليوم إلى بلوغه هو إنجاز معجم تاريخي متكامل يضم كل مفردات اللغة العامة مرتبة ترتيبا تاريخيا، من أول استخدام لها إلى أحدث استعمال، يبيّن تطور المعاني اللغوية وتحورها واندثارها عبر مسارها الزمني الطويل، وأمام حجم الفائدة العظيمة التي يقدمها هذا المشروع، فإننا نطرح جانبا آخر من المعجم التاريخي، ألا وهو المعجم التاريخي المختصّ؛ أي الذي يضم المصطلحات والعبارات الاصطلاحية والمفاهيم العلمية، ويتتبعها منذ أول استخدام علمي اصطلاحي لها إلى أحدث استعمال، ويبيّن التطورات والتحورّات التي طرأت على الاصطلاحات العلمية منذ أول ظهور لها، ولا شك أن الوصول إلى مشروع بهذا الحجم سيمكننا من القضاء على كثير من أشكال الفوضى الاصطلاحية التي تطبع الممارسات العلمية العربية الحديثة. ABSTRACT: The greatest ambition that Arab lexicographers today aim to achieve is a historical dictionary that would collect all the standard vocabulary in chronological order from its very first usage to the latest, tracing the change, transformation, and disappearance of the various meanings of linguistic items. With the significant value the project will provide once completed according to its specified requirements, we introduce another type of historical dictionary: the specialized historical dictionary.That includes The words, idiomatic expressions, scientific terms, starting from their earliest technical use and down to the latest, are covered in this kind of dictionary. It also provides the innovations and alterations that have taken place in the scientific terms from its earliest appearance. There is no doubt that achieving a project of this scale will enable us to eliminate many forms of terminological chaos that characterize modern Arab scientific practices.
