A Socio-communicative Reading Of The Role Of Digital Culture In Limiting The Practices Of Digital Violence On Social Media Platforms

Abstract
This paper explores the role of digital culture in reducing digital violence on social media. Employing a descriptive-analytical approach within communication sociology, the study examines how digital culture can mitigate online violence. Findings indicate that social media is a fertile ground for various forms of digital violence. Thus, it is crucial to regulate and rationalize social media use through digital literacy, particularly provided by societal institutions starting with the family. The society plays a vital role in imparting the necessary principles, values, and skills for digital culture, thereby curbing violent behaviors in virtual spaces. يهدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن دور الثقافة الرقمية في الحد من العنف الرقمي عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي. من خلال استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي ضمن مجال علم اجتماع الاتصال، تبحث الدراسة في الكيفية التي يمكن بها للثقافة الرقمية أن تخفف من العنف عبر الإنترنت. وتشير النتائج إلى أن وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي تشكل أرضا خصبة لمختلف أشكال العنف الرقمي. وبالتالي، فمن الأهمية بمكان تنظيم وترشيد استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي من خلال محو الأمية الرقمية، وخاصة التي تقدمها المؤسسات المجتمعية بدءاً بالأسرة. ويلعب المجتمع دوراً حيوياً في نقل المبادئ والقيم والمهارات اللازمة للثقافة الرقمية، وبالتالي الحد من السلوكيات العنيفة في الفضاءات الافتراضية.
