The African continent stood out for its cultural distinctiveness and the diversity of its intellectual and cultural systems. Due to attempts by European ideologies to erase their intellectual, cultural, and civilizational traits, this led to the rise of intellectual and cultural movements aimed at preservation and resistance against various forms of European cultural invasion. Their goal was to establish the foundations of African culture through writings that emphasized the plight of the Black individual. Hence, our effort has been to spotlight the term "Negritude" and related concepts, delving into the cognitive systems of Negritude narratives to unveil the terminological interplay within this field of knowledge. Considering Negritude literature as a collection of literary works expressing the complex vision of Blacks of African descent, it's a term commonly used in critical and cultural studies within African literature, contrasting with European narratives.
